Draw the Car of the Future...Let Your Imagination Ride Far
The Car people in the future drive may be the one you draw. Submit your entry and let your dreams take off with TOYOTA
In Kenya, the drawing event was officially launched on November 22, 2011 by Mr. Anthony Percival (GM, sales, Marketing, CRM & Logistics of Toyota Kenya) at Makini School in Nairobi, inviting famous artist William Mugambi ("Mr. Sketch"). William Mugambi was leading the event as MC and students of Makini School presented choir and band performance after welcoming speeches from the hosts. Then he gave a brief drawing session to all participating children, and children had fun drawing their own dream car. Toyota Kenya partnered with Nation Media Group (children program Generation 3) to show all dreams car activities and provide a 5-minute program for Toyota Dream Car competition every Saturday from October 2011. In addition, 10 events in total were held in Nairobi and other towns, and approx. 1,600 children participated in the events. Parents and teachers were saying "We are very happy that this event gave children a chance to show their art talents and to think about a car that they want to drive in the future."

The goal of TOYOTA Dream Car Art Contest is to create opportunities for children to feel fun and understand the importance of having dreams through drawing a “Dream Car” using their creative imaginations.
